 James Landon, CLU, ChFCFinancial Advisor
Jim Landon entered the life insurance field in 1967 with Provident Mutual, now known as Nationwide Provident. In 1978, he joined what is today Navigon Financial Group, Inc. and, after 30 years, he and Cheeto Arellano chose to create an independent firm, Argo Financial Advisors.
Jim earned a BS in Business Education from Ohio’s Wilmington College, served in the US Army and also taught high school business classes. He has attained both his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations and is a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative with Hornor, Townsend & Kent, Inc.
An active participant in many industry organizations, Jim has been a member of the Greensboro Association of Insurance & Financial Professionals since 1978. He is also a member of the Greensboro Estate Planning Council.
Jim and his wife, Edna, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary and have 3 grown daughters and 6 grandchildren.

Vicky joined the Argo Financial team in April of 2009 to assist with Argo Financial’s administrative and client service needs. A native of Long Island, New York, she has a degree in Public Relations from Hofstra University and also provides marketing support for the firm. Vicky recently attained her life and health license in the state of North Carolina and is working on a Master’s degree in English at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
